[desc_full] => This progressive 3 time winner in this calendar year has a BHA flat mark of 85 and is a winner over 1 mile 2f up to 1 mile 4 furlongs. His last run was his best recording an RPR of 88 over 1 mile and 41/2 furlongs. Every piece of his form has worked out superbly with horses in and around him boosting the form time and time again.
State Legend was handpicked for Rubicon Racing by the super shrewd dual purpose and Cheltenham Festival winning trainer Ian Williams. A legendary trainer and great bloke Ian is adept at training dual purpose horses and our one instruction to him was “choose us a horse that can take our owners to the spring festivals”.
By Churchill who stands at Coolmore stud for a fee of £25000 and out of a Cape Cross mare this scopey beautiful moving and strong staying progressive type is exactly the sort of horse that you need to make a successful juvenile hurdler. He is the brother to 3 winning siblings and we are delighted to have acquired a horse of such potential.
He was purchased at the Tattersalls August Sale and taken home to be schooled before being immediately gelded. He will now be prepared for a juvenile hurdling campaign giving his new owners dreams of a Spring festival appearance with races like the Triumph hurdle, Fred Winter juvenile hurdle and the Anniversary hurdle at Aintree very much on the agenda.
Ian believes this horse is massively unexposed on the flat and with natural improvement will also give his owners the opportunity to enjoy some great days out on the flat once this jumps season is at an end.
We feel we have secured real value here and this chap will appeal to owners who are looking to hit the ground running with a shrewd trainer who is confident of a very bright future for our boy.

Untraced 3 year old half brother to Itchy Feet By exciting French sire Triple Threat.
In training with Christian Williams this very exciting 3 year old is the half brother to none other than the grade 1 winning chaser Itchy Feet.
Christian is absolutely thrilled with the young horses development and this privately purchased gelding has been broken and is currently in training.
A very athletic and striking looking gelding we are particularly excited to have seen him school recently under Jack Tudor and he was foot perfect well balanced and athletic.
His exciting young sire a son of Monsun has been well supported by no less than Willie Mullins who has purchased a number of his offspring including the winner of this years 100k Fairyhouse Bumper Icare Desbois who made €220,000 after winning the prestigious sales race on his debut.
In his first French crop Triple Threat sired amongst others the Graded Auteuill winner Sans Bruit.
Christian Williams needs no introduction and having trained the winners of the Scottish and Welsh National the Eider chase and the Racing Post Chase all with horses that had been under his care from an early age we feel this beautifully bred gelding is just the type to excel under his care.
Please drop us an enquiry form or call and we will send you some videos of him schooling

What a success story this horse has been. Purchased for £50k by Carl and Hamish Mcauley at the same `Goffs sale that Interconnected cost connections £620k he immediately repaid that spend with victory in a 70k Aintree chase in his first run for us.
Onto Ascot where he bolted in in a 50k chase before taking the Grade 1 Ascot Chase on his next start.
After suffering with ulcers and other minor issues he bounced back to form to win Aintree’s Grade 2 Old Roan Chase on his first start of this season.
Riders has now won a Grade 1 chase a Grade 2 chase and over £250k in prize money since we purchased him.
This legend of a horse owes us nothing but we will continue to enjoy his career and hope for more success this season and beyond.

Purchased privately from Ireland after winning a point to point this strapping bold jumping horse was always going to make a better chaser than hurdler.
After a quiet start to his career he came into his own by winning 3 chases in the bounce during his novice year being heavily backed each time and including a £50k final at Haydock which he qualified for when bolting up at Sandown with one of the finest jumping rounds you’ll see as a novice.
Five star rose 40lb in the weights with his brilliant trainer overseeing huge improvement. He didn’t stop there though and again won easily at Kempton in a £50k chase beating a strong field (form worked out well) at the prestigious King George meeting over the Christmas period.
He starts this season only 2lb higher than his last win and we would again hope to see him in the winners enclosure as the season progresses.
