It is very rare that you will find available for syndication a horse as impeccably bred as this chap.

By the Champion Sire Kapgarde sire of numerous graded winners and most notably on these shores sire of 3 Grade 1 winners from last season Clan des Obeaux Fakir D’Oudaries and the reigning Gold Cup winner A Plus Tard. In France of course he is the sire of multiple Grade 1 winners including the 3 parts brother to Our Follet namely Feu Follet who is the winner of no less than 12 races including 6 graded races.

The dam to our horse is Folie Lontaine who is a full sister to Far West who some of you will recall winning a graded hurdle at Cheltenham before finishing 2nd in the Triumph hurdle at the festival. Her 2010 offspring Folle de Toi is the dam of Feu Follet. Proven to be a fine broodmare she has already bred 2 winners including the 6 time winner (including listed) and graded performer Fou et Sage the winner of £190k in prize money.

Our Follet was broken in as a 2year old and has been in pre training at the yard of Kelly Morgan before moving to the yard of French Bloodstock expert Richard Hobson who has been training him specifically for the new BHA Junior Development hurdle series which begins this Autumn.

This horse although a 3 year old will be making his debut this side of Xmas and we feel the new programme will be perfect. One of the features of the new Junior Hurdle series is that you retain your novice status the following season.

Kelly Morgan..”I adore the horse he’s certainly done everything I’ve asked of him with ease. He’s so cocky he thinks he’s favourite for the Triumph! I shouldn’t be biased but he’s my favourite I adore him.”

Richard Hobson..”he’s going extremely well and I couldn’t be happier with him”

Delighted to say that Our Follets career has begun in the exact way we hoped with him enjoying a very impressive win at Ffos Las in comfortably the most competitive Junior Hurdle seen this season a race featuring 2 last time out winners and one that had fallen at the last when looking like the winner. Our Follet led from pillar to post and stretched clear on the run in to win by 8 lengths.

A very exciting horse to get involved in as he retains his novice status for next weason where he will be a much more mature horse.
