Damekap was sourced directly from France by RH Bloodstock very much like our Network filly Dame Rose who went onto Graded success at Aintree and Newbury.

First purchased and broken in as a 2 year old this outstanding filly by the great Kapgarde is out of a 3 time winning mare and already a sister to 2 winners with her Saint des Saints brother Saint Daman in training in Ireland.

Kapgarde needs no introduction and is simply the most outstanding sire standing anywhere, last season he was responsible from very few numbers on our shores 3 individual grade 1 winners in Clan des Obeaux, Fakir Doudories and the Cheltenham, Gold Cup winner himself A Plus Tard.

An outstanding physical we have had her in pre training with Kelly Morgan and she has excelled in her work whilst still growing into her frame.
She is a brilliant natural jumper and given her size and scope we expect her to come into her own over obstacles.

We do not expect to see her on the track this season as with a fully of her size and build we need to ensure she is fully mature, next season she will be "an absolute tank" according to Kelly. "She did her last piece of work up the wood chip gallop last week and went beautifully and will now have a short break before going back into training in the new year."
